Hi does anyone know what clockfreq this cd player uses Pioneer PD8700 . I could not see it on the clock itself.
Also are the PDS 2026A the DAC's? ..I could not find data on the net... I am trying to find out if I can use Elso's clock and if I can give it a tube output stage easily... Regards, Bas |

Hello Bas,
Clockfrequency is very likely to be 16.9344 MHz as almost all Pioneer players have of that age. PDS2026A will be the ( Legato Link ?! ) DAC's. You will find nothing on the web regarding these chips as they are rebranded chips from another manufacturer. I have some PD0050's and PD0037's and never found anything on them. Some are NPC products I can tell you, but what type ?? Regards, Jean-Paul
