Hello
I'm thinking of building a DAC. One of the options would be this KIT below so what do you think about it? Otherwise, could you recomend me some chips? (I'm intersted in TDA1541, but I don't know where to buy it, and I don't know if the 1543 would be a good one). I know that these are quite old, so that's why I'm asking you about something new and, I hope, better. Anyway, probably I'll go with a non-oversampling design. Rockna KIT Thank you! |

The Rockna kit looks very interesting, and for the price you couldn't do anything wrong.
Check also: www.dddac.de for a multiple (parallel) DAC with 12 or more TDA1543, no OS or output stage/ filter. Rgds, - dan

To my ear the ad1865 is superior to the tda1541a, and they are both far superior to the tda1543 -- even a stack of them. Especially if you can get it with the K version of the chip I think it looks like a very nice piece of kit.
