Which Player To Buy ?

I'd like to know your opinion about the following cd players:

1)Sony CDP-X555ES (no pulse version!).
2)Marantz CD 67 Spec. Ed.
3)Marantz CD6000.
4)NAD542.

I`m very happy with my Marantz cd67se. It`s sound is richer than the newer cd6000 series. Buy it with confidence. Good luck!

some how i feel that laser in cd67 die easily. cd67 will have problem playback CDRW. CD6000 will be a better choice. It has 1 dac per channel. more interesting to mod.

IMHO, the cd67se sound is better than the cd6000. It it more musical and thicker compare to cd6000. A good foundation for modding as well. If I'm not mistaken, the laser used is the same in both players.
