A question about replacing clock...

Hi,

I'd like trying a low-jitter (I hope) clock in my CD160...

wonder if any problem could arise (i.e. damage to the player) when putting the player on pause and the clock still runs.

Hello ,

the clock is always running , even when you stop the playing .
It is the normal function for a clock . Without it the CD player doesnt work .

ne avevo il sospetto... ;-)

so, the SAA7220 IC is always powered even when the player is on stby.... thanks, this spares me some time.
