Hi
I am currently buliding my own home thearter amp so for the audio input selection section I found a ic LC7822N in a old Oknyo Amp I had lying around.. now my question is how do you togle the various internal switches on this Ic I would like to simulate this on my breadboard before I start writting a program for the PIC wich I wish to use to control the whole amplifier. I have read through the datasheet but i still don't understand how to do this. Your help will be greatly apreciated... Thanks in Advance. Here is the Datasheet |

Thanks for your reply...
ok here I go... 1. on the CE I put a Logic Low 2. I have to clock through A0 A1 A2 A3 3. take CE to a logic High 4. Then Clock through SW1 SW2 SW3 SW4 SW5 SW6 SW7 SW8 5. take CE to a logic Low I am not sure What A0 A1 A2 A3 are suppose to be I see that they are dependent on the s pin. can I just tie the S pin to gnd & just use 0011 Thanks Again... |

The S pin gives you two different addresses for when you use two chips. With one chip you can, as you say, ground the S pin and use 0011 as the chip address. |
