Default Repairing a digital stage?

I have a Parasound AVC 2500u (and a DDDac on the way.). I would like to repair the Dddac for digital audio. The problem is with the rear channels. They don't come through at all. I know what board all the processing is on. It looks like all the D/A and A/D and also the digital volume control are fine. Could it be the DSP? Where can you find DSP chips or a schematic for the 2500? Thanks.
