Analog PS in Tentlabs DAC

Use of another power supply to feed the analog part of the P CM63 in the Tentlabs DAC

I tried two PS for the analog part of the PCM63PK, the original PS with BD139 -BD140 and one with LM317-LM337(same circuit as on the digital print but with Oscon 100µF on Adj pin of LM3..).

Normally, the discrete version should be better but the bass is not as short as with the LM version.

The outputs after 15 minutes for the discrete version are :
-5.39 and -4.97V
+5.25 and +5.33V
The rise in voltage is about 8% from cold to warm service.

My questions are :

1. Did anyone tried also another PS and detected also a change in sound character?
2. Is there an increase in distortion with the voltage unbalance ?
3. Did anyone tried the shunt regulators from Tentlabs and how was it implemented in the existing circuit?

There's not a big difference in the sound, both sound good!
It's only for curiosity I like to know.

I don`t buy original PSU board. But I compare my PSU with 317\337 integrated regulators. Discrete shematic more better.

Guido, if you read this: Is it possible to upgrade the existing PS print with your shunt regulators and what's the result? Please read my comments about the original PS. Is there something wrong?
