Default Want a new old CD player...TDA1541a??

I started years ago with a California Audio Icon, then to Cal. delta and PS audio ultralinc II, then to a Proceed CDD and Audio Note DAC1.1x, then a CD-Pro kit with a Philips TDA1545A kit dac via SPIF and now an Eastsound CD-E5. Thes Eastsound sounds very good, but it is silver and I want black and a change. I'm leaning toward a Marantz CD7, Marantz CD94mkII, Naim CDI or Philips CD-880. These are all based on the TDA1541A S1 or better. I see on this site people modifing CD63 and CD67s that use the SM5872 chip. There are many of these on Ebay. I THINK I prefer the 1541A. I've listened to AD1856, CS4328's and PCM63's dacs never a TDA1541A. I think I'm ready, but which one?

Sounds good! If I wanted an all-in-one solution, what CD player would be good to mod and install this dac? I assume I2S transport in a modern CD player with a good clock and power supply and room for this dac to fit. Any info to do this would be greatly appriciated. I built the CD-pro kit to do this and sold it 7 months ago, because I couldn't find the right dac. I tried the TDA1545a, but the chip isn't I2s and the TDA1543 wasn't for me at the time. I couldn't find software to make the CD-pro output EJIA so the project got sold. I would be happy with a CD player that can internally output I2S and install this dac internally, but I need suggestions.
