Have you tried archive.org? It isn't working for me right now, but this link should tell you if they have a copy of the page:

Well, the Archive.org link worked just now, but they didn't archive the zip files with the details of the project. However, googleing the filename turned up this post at diyaudio which has a copy of the zip file attached:
need a pic software assembled

and it seems there are some bugs in the code, according to a post on this page:
DIY CD drive based on a computer CDROM
