Im pretty much a newbie when it comes to DIY, I have good soldering skills and some knowledge of electrical circuits, i have done mods to cd players and dacs as well as built the Bottlehead Foreplay tube pre-amp. So now im looking to build a dac to use with my PC. It must be easy and inexpensive to build as well as have a usb input and sound better than your average pc soundcard. Ive seen alot of differant kits onnline and its hard to make up my mind. There is the DDDAC, Nixon TubeDAC, Chibi....etc So any advice on which is the best way to go?
thanks Frank |
