Hi all,

Im working on a car audio project where everything is optical
I need to take the DOCK Line level from the IPOD
A-D it and convert that to SPDIF

i cant seem to find a single IC that has a A/D in it and spdif out
so i will interface a DIT4096 to some A/D converter

I've never done anything with a/d, i need someone to point me in the right direction

I want to buffer the audio from the ipod, then into A/D to I2s to the DIT4096

all run off 12dvc, im ok, and i think for better Qual a +5/-5 design
i can do a dc-dc converter to get the dual supply and isolation

anyone know of anything drawn out, or a IC recomendation

or does anyone got something like this availabe already?
