Pioneer Pd-8700

Just bought a secondhand Pioneer Pd-8700(Pd-870c) and its stopped playing disks any ideas on solving problem.Also need user manual if possible to repair player.

Hi, can you describe the symptoms in more detail?

It appears that when i put a disk in the disk starts to spin and then just stops.
Iv had a look inside the player and it seems that the laser is at fault.
Iv managed to adjust a screw on the laser unit and it will play a disc but plays up on the second or third track on a cd.
