Hi everyone, I have a Carver PM1.5 (being used at 220V) thatīs been stored for a while. Iīve tried it out recently and it sends out some noise that comes from the Triac (as far as iīve been able to trace the source).
I Would be needing the datasheet or the circuit array in order to measure voltage and take a look at the components. If any of you has an idea of which may be the cause of the noise, or knows where I may be able to find the circuit squematics. I would be really thankful. Thatīs all, thanks for reading. |

Is the noise an uneven ticking?
How familiar are you with amplifiers? Do you have a rough idea on how a Carver works? The high supplies normally run bipolar 120~125 VDC. Be careful. The caps stay charged after turning off. -Chris |
