Hello,
I have owned a Marantz CD-73 for a number of years and been pleased with the overall sound quality and it's reliability. However, when I came to do a tape recording from a CD I had to adjust the recording level quite a bit higher on the right channel than on the left, I then listened to a CD and noticed that the output on the left channel was louder than the right (I even tried a Mono CD, same thing happened). I changed interconnects (no difference) and then swapped the channels over left to right and right to left, and then the right channel was louder than the left. So it appears that for some reason the output on my Marantz is down on the right channel. Can anyone point me in the right direction. I love this CD player and I know its 23 years old, but I hope I can save it. Thanks. |
