sheng ya cd o2 harshness
 

Hi there everyone
I recently bought a Shengya cd 02 valve output stage cd player
it runs the Burr brown PCM1716E dac and ne 5532 opamps in the dac stage with a chinese 6n2 tube in class a mode as the output.
Let me say this is an impressive sounding machine with a clear incisive insight into cd's and a great soundstage but but but..
It fatigues me no end after about 10 minutes. I have already tried Burr brown 2604 op amps in place of the 5532's but i cant stand it after 20 minutes..
So where would i start to investigate/remedy possible causes of harshness and i figure it would be odd order harmonics we are dealing with here..
Short of selling it, i was wondering wether anone would have any insights into this connundrum
