Best decoupling caps for TDA1541

In your experience what would be near ideal decoupling caps for my tda1541 S2's?

my friend recommended the WIMA black-box cap basing on his experience of TDA1541 NOS DAC

shorten the decoupling pins until there's only enough space to solder 0,1µ COG ceramic or similar foil SMD-caps onto it. then solder a big and fat GND - Connection to the other side of the caps. 'think its also important to reduce stray inductance - so the smd way seems to me optimal.... cheers
