Default TEAC ESOTERIC UX-1 for Mods ??

Having been amazed by recent news on the internet about the TEAC UX-1 (or X-01), and what APL is offering (VSE is claiming to offer mods to the DV-50, but TEAV has just stopped production End of March; seee their Japanese Website), I wonder if anyone has been fiddling with one, DIY ?
