Default Clock multiplier x3

Hi,

I would like to build an x3 clock multiplier to generate 33.8688Mhz from a 11.2896Mhz clock.

I'll use it to generate a 33.8688Mhz clock to feed my cd-pro2 drive from my dac.

I found the ics502 and ics601 but I can't find a source for them, in samples or to sell.

if someone can help, it would be great !

thank

Why not use a 33.8688M TCXO?

Much better performance.

I could but my 11.2896 and 33.8688Mhz clock wouldn't be synchronized anymore, so I would get glitches at dac output like I have at the moment.

the drive feeds a sm5843 by i2s which feed two pcm63p dacs.
the 11.2896mhz clock feeds the sm5843, the 33.8688 feeds the drive.

The clocklock section of the Discmagic transport uses a 3x multiplier based around a pair of 74 series inverters and a few passives. The schematic should show up in a search.

Hi,

thanks to all for your replies, i'll look at your schematics.

I don't want to divide by three, that would be a lot easier, to keep the best clock around the dac.
