Theta Data III loading problem solved
FYI, my Theta Data III traport started giving hassles-basically the sled motor would continue running even after the tray was fully loaded.
Problem was that the CD was not being clamped and further investigation and also advice from a US repair shop showed the problem to be a slipping load belt. Replaced this and everything is working again. Also, for the record, the Data III is a modified Pioneer CLD-99, I have the circuit diagram. |

Hi Ryan. Just resurrected a scrapper with a belt too... Now the Data Basic II vs Data III shootout looms.
