Greetings all,
It's been awhile since I've visited... I remember a kit for a cd player being offered that included the chassis, philips pro transport, dac and everything else to make it work. It was a top loading design and the transport "cover" slid back. it was a nice looking design. Does anyone else remember it and is it still available? It seems like the price was pretty reasonable for what was supplied. Also, if I recall the guy was on the east coast of the US who had put the kit together... Any help or info would be appreciated! I've searched and I can't find it... Perhaps a link to his website???? Thanks,

He dosen't have anymore. I picked one of the kits up in Feburary from a fellow who purchased it last year and never assembled it. I ordered some of the upgrade parts for it from Ken whom was selling the kits last year and it seems that he's not able to import them anymore. Too bad, as it is a very high quality piece of gear at a reasonable price.

I am also interested in building the Philips based transport, but I have not done anything yet. In fact, by the time I was ready to start, I found out that I was too late. There is still a chance to get a kit, but most people (including myself) will need an interpreter. Refer to the following link.
