I'm looking to source a spare laser pick-up for my cdp. I've found a few places and seem to find conflicting info. The part # on my unit is vam1202/12. The transport is a cdm12.1. One supplier lists two different part #'s, one for a vam1202 and one for a cdm12.1. I've located one supplier in Ireland with the exact part # but it's 30 pounds and 20 pounds shipping. By the time I make the phone call to Ireland, (no on-line ordering), I'll be in for CA$ 100. I could buy 2 for less than that from the U.S based supplier.
Does anyone know if there is a difference between vam1202 and vam1202/12. Is the /xx a concern?
