Hi,
i just made the PCM2707 work to get i2s from USB. I am not looking at anything fancy, i just want a USB input on my DIY Tube amp. I have AD1852/3 and AD1955 to get it to audio. Can the AD1955 be implemented without the serial programming? Bas |

Well, PCM2707 has an analog output (although it is fairly crappy from looking at the datasheet). You'll need MCU to program AD1955, but it comes up in I2S configuration by default, so it is probably can be interfaced with PCM2707. Another Alternative is PCM1794, which has hardware control.

I am currently leaning towards the internal DAC for simplicity, as al the DAC's require big output circuitry.
Or is there a possible 1 opamp I/V or so? Don't need the high pass, as it won't pass my output transformer anyway Bas |

You can do I/V conversion with a single differential THS4130/OPA1632 opamp per channel. Or you could do passive I/V convesion with a step-up transformer...
