SM5843 to I2S or Sony format

Hey guys,

I want connect my sds tube dac to my marantz cd4000 without the cs8412.
The Cd4000 is hackt so there are different output setting possible see the picture.
I have connect pin 28 to the WS and pin 2 to BCK and pin 1 to data.
But there is only noise!.

i have set it to I²S 16 / 18bits output format config 4.

If you ignore the datasheet you shouldn't be too surprised if things don't work.

Why not? No self-respecting diyAudiophool would ever read a datasheet and match inputs to outputs. No, that’s too difficult because it requires READING, THINKING, STUDYING, and LEARNING. It’s much easier to post moronic questions in an audio forum and hope someone will provide the answers.
