Default Splitting Digital Audio

I currently have my computer's Sound Blaster Audigy LS card's digital coax output connected to my Logitech Z-5500 speakers.

I also want to have it connected to my regular surround receiver.

Can I just use an RCA splitter and connect both of them to the card?
