I bought a set of adapters from the Swedish store Elfa: http://www.elfa.se . Article #48-393-53 . Don't think they ship outside of Scandinavia.

Similar adapters are also available from a small webshop aimed at the mp3 player DIY:er: http://www.jelu.se/shop/product_info.php?products_id=45 (also in three pack). However, they have a small order surcharge, but seem to ship anywhere. And they accept Visa and PayPal.

This device is actually not that hard to solder.

I bent every other leg up and soldered wire-wrap wire on them. Also, there are a few pins you don't have to solder at all, which makes it easier. You will need tweezers, and a magnifying glass, and a fine tipped soldering iron though.

Now the PCM2902, that's a real pain to solder by hand.

i have ordered 2 adapters from BrownDog ... i have also found that RS is have some adapters and that one of them could be the right one.... also Digikey has few from Aries I think....
anyway _ Browndog was the way to go for me.... thanks guys...

yes... soldering will be a pain in the ***....
anyway i have to do that also....

Lyra.....thanks for the reply - i have stumbled on them yesterday late at night... well... they are expensive :( - they ask 49Euro for the soldered CS8414... i can buy for that three adapters anbd three CS8414... well - i have there room to make some errors and still have soldered chip::::: :) so i have not accepted the offer....

anyway - thanks for the effort - someone might need that information too..... :):D
