I am working on connecting a PCM2707 to a tda1541a via i2s. I am a bit confused about pin 27 of the tda1541a and how it changes the data format required.
From my reading of the datasheet, it appears that I should be connecting pin 27 of the tda1541a to pin 28 (i.e., 5V). This suggests that pin 19 of the 2707 (BCK) connects to pin 2 of the tda1541a, pin 5 of the 2707 (WS) connects to pin 1 of the tda1541a, and pin 17 of the 2707 (data) connects to pin 3 of the tda1541a. Further, pin 4 of the tda1541a is left with no connection. Does this sound correct? As a second question, what should I do with pins 16 and 17? The datasheet has a 470pF cap between them. Is this is the best thing to do? For the pinout of the 2707, see http://www.ecp.cc/images/pcm2707.jpg Thanks, -d |
