I have recently come into possession of a Marantz DR6000.
The unit powers up nicely but the CD drawer doesn't eject [in fact, the draw and spindle don't do anything - even though the display seems fine]. I took the chassis lid off but couldn't see anything wrong [no loose wires or cables anyway]. I guess there couold be a problem with the controller or maybe there's no power to the CD unit - in all honesty, i have no idea. anybody have any advice on how to get this piece of kit going - the thought of digitising my vinyl collection quite appeals and by all acounts this CDR is quite good. After I've got it working, what upgrades are advisable? Any help you can give will be muchly appreciated. If not, any advice on who repairs such kit would also be appreciated. Ta, Nick |
