Sony SCD-1 or 777ES S-TACT Bypass
Has anyone tried picking up the SACD/DSD signal directly at the outputs of the VC-24 filter and bypassing the S-TACT during SACD play? VSEI is doing this with its latest upgrade. Which pins of eight carrying signal from the VC-24 would be used or combined? I am using a transformer output stage connected to the S-TACT, so it would not be too hard to add a switch bypassing the S-TACT during SACD play.
