Default Best clocks for microcontrollers/DACs

If I go to Digikey and look up the best (as in, most stable and lowest jitter) oscillator for a microcontroller or DAC chip, would it be under ceramic resonators, crystals, oscillators, or PLLs, and what is the differencec? I've heard of Tent Labs as a great source of low jitter oscillators, and I'd like to try and find some (in small quantities).
