Default Philips CD604: problem

Hi,

I received a Philips CD604 today, but there's a noise when I play a music CD. I've recorded a little exemple because I really don't know what the problem might be. You can download it at http://files.brechtlan.be/AUDIO000.wma .

Can you give me a couple of tips and tricks to make the sound normal?

Thanks!

Don't know what the fault is - it sounds like 50Hz breakthrough since it is present on the intro - could be fault on the +5v line to the DAC.

I have spare boards for this model.
