Here some images of my own version of the TDA1543 DAC based on P. Daniel Design. I used the schematic that he posted, thanks Peter, and some of the PCB prototype images that he posted too. I'll hear by myself pretty soon its good sound

I finally completed the DAC. I installed it into an Hammond 1455N1602 enclosure. I didn't want to have connectors at both ends of the enclosure, so I installed the AC input connector under the casing (as the ML38 preamp do). You can see that on the front of the casing.

Here the zoom of the AC input. The AC connector contains the fuse. I also added a power On switch. The switch is accessible from the front under the right corner. Some european preamp, ie YBA use this trick to hide the power On switch. The AC socket barely fits under the AC transformer

The Front and Rear panels. I added two leds on the DAC, a power On blue (led) and a Lock (green) led on the front panel. I like a lock indicator. I will add a few nice indent labels on the front.
On the rear panel, you can see a real 75 ohms digital input and good Cardas RCA audio output connectors.
There is 3 cones, one on front, two on the back.
