Question Diy BPM Meter

Hi There?...

Has anyone ever attemped to build a Bpm Meter?...

I seached the web to no avail...
so if anyone has a schemetic I would be very interested
pic projects welcome!...

musical beats is what I am talking about
i think they are also called Beat Count.
like the ones you find on some dj mixers.
