Slave SqueezeBox to DAC?

Has anybody done this? I'm not sure what the crystal frequency in the SB3 is, but somebody out there must have thought about this. I'm thinking SB3 slaved to Monica II would be nice.

Taken from the Slimdevices forums:

There are two separate crystals running at 44.1 x 256 = 11.2896MHz and 48 x 256 = 12.2880 MHz. A 74hcu04 drives the crystals and sends the clock to the logic circuits which generrate the DAC and s/pdif interfaces.

btw. My Squeezy already replaced my Marantz 5000 OSE as transport completely
