Question SPDif and PCM67 ??

I want to make a dac with Toslink input and i have a PCM67 but unfortunately it needs separate data for L and R as well as clock signals, connected to it theres a filter ic that splits a digital signal down to these L/R signals, nut still theres these clock signals input. Whatr do i need to make this a SPDif dac ?

Model No.? You are going to have to get a SPDIF rx from somewhere or your project is dead before it starts.

I dont remember the model, it was the kind with cd in the bottom, dual tape deck above and radio at the top.

A large main board alog the right side and two boards behind the front.

It was 2x25w with a stk module s poweramp that was a separate amp unit mounted in the bottom.

The ics are, on the cd drive: CXA1372AQ. On the board: CXD2500BQ, M6538-01 and PCM67.

The M6538-01 is most likely a microcontroller. Follow the tracks connected to CXD2500BQ pins 71,72 & 74 to see where they go and do the same with pin 32 of the same chip.
