Using a PC as a live 5.1 decoder ?
Is there a program/codec that will allow someone to input a dolby digital spdif input and output that through the souncards 6 single outputs in real time ? Is it possible to decode pro logic from a line in source in real time ?
My setup works fine for playing out 5.1 from dvd on the pc through the 6 single outputs, but was wondering if there is a way to use it also for external sources, satellite, xbox, etc. The sound card I have has spdif in/out , and up to 8 seperate outputs. Running winxp/linux dualboot |
