Default Help on order for AD 1896

I have been trying to order on the analog.com site but cannot complete the order as I need a 'vatID'. What is this? VAT no?

Yes it's a VAT registration number. They'll only sell direct in the UK to registered companies.

When I bought my AD1896 evaluation board off AD (It makes an awesome external DAC by the way), I was lucky in that I could place the order on the website with them from work, so I could use the compny's VAT registration number. I believe they will sell direct to US private customers though
