Carvin FET 1000 Stereo Amplifier worth fixing ???

Carvin FET 1000 Stereo Amplifier i found one of these cheap in a ad (((( this Amplifier is from an estate. I used an old turntable and a couple of old speakers to test. It plays from each channel but has low volume. A copy of owners manual is included; manual has schematics and instructions for operation. Very heavy amplifier. Sold AS IS))))) thats the ad but he only wants $ 25.00
im asumeing since he says it plays at low volume .. that something is wrong ? its perty cheap ... is it worth buying and fixing ?

I have one of those, but my powerstage is burned out.
Would it be possible for you to send/post the schematics so that I could try to fix mine? If I am successful, I`d be glad to give you a reply on how good the amp is.
