Hi guys I've just completed the kwak clock and installed it in my roksan kandy cdp. As i dont have an oscillscope, I just set the comparator input at 0.55V. Finally the acid test...sitting down to listen to it, it is kind of disappointing. The sound seems to be less dynamic, slower. Abit muddy the bass. Not only that the soundstage seems to have become smaller as compared to the orginial crystal setup. Anyone have this experience? Also does the clock have a "burnin" period?
Thanks |
