Please advise a 20- or 24-bit Audio Codec with Differential Inputs/Outputs and with SoftMute.

Does there exist anything else besides the famous AK4528 ?

I've used the AD1836A-1839A series from Analog Devices in a number of projects and products, and I'm very pleased with their performance.

Cirrus Logic makes some good looking codecs too, until you read their errata sheets...
