I am a new member so please be gentle! I have a home built system with active filters in the pre-amp. My CD player (Technics)
has started to burst into joyful oscillation on occassion, at least I think its the CDP. The sound coming from the speakers is LOUD mains hum and a higher pitch buzz. Has anyone any ideas. I removed the CDP from the system and plugged it into the mains, no amp attatched and could still hear this buzz with my signal tracer.
