I have a RCD-940 getting a bit long in the tooth but still working well, will track most anything.
I have increased the analogue filter cap pairs 2200 to 4700 uF and upped the digital cap from 1000 to 10000. The amp is a bare bones passive pot LM4875 with carlosfm's LM338 regulated supply and very simple ext. crossover 2 way scanspeak speakers, everything with silver plated litz wires, 26 to 30 gauge with minimal signal path everywhere. I'm ready to tackle something more on the cd player. Any suggestions on where to start - a/d convertor, clock etc? |
