Teac VRDS 25 Crackle

Hi all

Here is the set up I am using for my 2 channel music @ the moment

Teac VRDS 25 source
Graham Slee Headphone Amp with Russ Andrews power pack 3
Sennheise HD650 headphones with a Russ Andrews HC1 Headphone Cable


Right, Problem: Very quiet crackle on the Analogue output when playing back CD
Digital output is no problem no crackle on playback

It is barely noticable but very very annoying

I have recently upgraded the Factory Digital Filter And sample rate converter chips In the 25 with Higher quality chips from a Audio tuning company in Germany.
Plus the Laser as it was having trouble and more often than not, not reading Cd's with more than 18 tracks, this has since gone ad seek time is 200% quicker .

I have double and triple checked the work and it seems fine.


Any thoughts as my head is starting to hurt where I am scratching it.

Just had a thought could it possibly be a clock problem on the Analogue stage?

were they there also before you swapped filter & src?

How about the sound...did it change much with the new parts?
