DAC - Wolfson

Hi there,

does anybody know of an external DAC (ideally kit but commercial product if necessary) using the Wolfson microelectronics DAC chips?

I haven't seen Wolfson in anything like that. I read somewhere that they got an order from MS and their Xbox.

If i have not got it all wrong i think that the Apple Ipod has Wolfson DAC's

The Wolfson eval boards aren't too expensive at $200 each. Cheaper than any commercial DAC and you know the implementation will be solid. If you want Wolfson, I'd just order the WM8740 eval board.

Isn't it odd how sometimes one needs someone else to point out the !@## obvious - how I failed to think of the eval board I have no idea!

I'll try Wolfson's web-site for an evaluation board right now.
