i am about to upgrade my pc
( choice as now of is the Asus MVP 939 using Ati RX200 chipset and ADI AD1986A HD audio with coaxial digital output )

And i will be using this next computer as source for ALL my audio listening with and external dac
( to be determined, for now my choice is on the RAKK DAC )

So i was wondering, if there anyway to modify this motherboard to get better audio performance out of it?

I do not intend on altering with the chipset itself,
but modifiying maybe it's PS and the coaxial output could be fun nah ??

So as anyone tampered with some pc motherboard audio modifications ?

Do you Gurus think that there is anything to be done at all ?
i could always try and seek for the PS of the ADI AD1986A on the board and modify it adding filters and regs ??

I know that the main problem with PC is the internal noises due to electromag and other devices operating!

Is there anyting to do at all with that ?

Thanks all much again :)
