dem-pcm2702 at a decent price?

I'm looking for a finished dem-pcm2702 board (if possible in a box) or as a complete kit (board + components) at a decent price.

Only found a $149 version. Giving that I can get the chip for under $20 (in eastern europe)... no thanks.

Any ideas where to find one?

There's a thread over at Head-Fi about the next version of it. I don't have any part in it anymore, bar advice and prototyping.

I reckon boards won't be available til after Christmas, depending on how organised the prototypers, and Alf in the run up

Hopefully I can get the chips as free samples from TI, they should be in a fedex envelope somewhere on the way to me.

Where can I find (or who is so kind to send me) a board layout - the one in the dem-pcm2702 pdf is at an awfull resolution with some dithering and cannot be used? I have no experience in design tools like eagle so it would take me some time to design it myself...

I'm quite happy to send you the board files, just send me an email. It would be cheaper, however, to wait for the group buy of the other boad

Hi Gus, I'm assembling boards 2 & 3 at the moment. The boards are working out fine. We're using one at work with differential line drivers to run music to everyone's desk over CAT-5.
