Some help please.
I have 2 cd players with similar problems, with a disc inserted the pickup can be heard to move, but the disc doesn't spin. I suspect the transports are broken, but any thoughts will be welcome. I have established that one of them (Cyrus DAD 1) has a cdm12.1 (VAM1202), but I haven't been able to establish yet what is in the other (Teac R100). My question is, i have never tried this before but am willing to give it a go but how difficult is it to swap out the transport? Any advice will be warmly welcomed. |
