Hi,
I like to handel diffrent audio data formats like SACD, S/PDIV, DVD Audio and to send them over Firewire. Now I try to figer out how to use the TSB43CB43A chip from TI, but I have some problem to understand the data sheet. Perhaps someone has some experience with handling that chip. How can I programm it, how can I set up the Configuration Register and so on. Would be cool if anyone can give me some helpful links or good tips what kind of Compiler, Software and Development tool I have to use. Thanx Tobias |

Thanks,
But I'm wondering if I just can setup the Configuraion Registers (CRFs) to a spesific Audiofromat like S/PDIV for example and then that chip handels all the incoming data automaticly and sends it out over the Firewire bus. So I would not need to program the ARM7. But for me its hard to understand if that is possible. I think its not really explained in the data sheet. Because in that case everthing would be much easier. |
