How to add digital out to old CD player?

I have an old NAD 5330 that I'm thinking of using as a transport.
Is there any way to add a digital out???

I've looked everywhere with no luck.
I wonder if NAD would be kind enough to supply me with one?

another way is to open it and tell us what chips are in.
