Has anyone built this DAC?
http://www.audioworkshop.com.hk/index_en.htm I only see a couple of threads on it. It looks pretty simple to build. And nice quality board etc. But I don't find alot abot the sound quality from people who have built them. I'm wondering how it compares to commercial offerings, like Wavelength Brick etc, or other homebrew USB DACs. Thanks |

Also, I'm wondering why are they using an external DAC chip. In this thread he prefers the internal DAC to the 1543
PCM2707 USB-->I2S how to use etc. |
