I noticed there's a 100mfd coupling cap at the Op amps 's output in the CD960. I'm, thinking of replacing with either a BG NX100uf 6.3V or PPs. Only problem with PPs is anything more than 10uf is the size of a a large drycell. Anybody tried the mod with a PP cap of say 10uf or so? I suspect that the bass may be slightly affected.
BTW, anybody know where I can get the SAA7210 and 7220 at sane prices? ckt
